Technology Center

The Technology Center houses a state-of-the-art computer laboratory with 12 computers all ready with Internet access. The lab is used as an open access community lab to support people looking for jobs, educational opportunities, and homework support. Others use it to search the Internet, access their email, and manage their bank accounts online.

Each computer in the computer lab is outfitted with the following software:

• Windows 2000 Professional
• Microsoft Office 2000
  Which includes the following:
  • Microsoft Access
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Microsoft Publisher
  • Microsoft Word
    
• Macromedia Studio MX
  Which includes the following:
  • Macromedia Dreamweaver MX
  • Macromedia Macromedia Fireworks MX
  • Macromedia Flash MX
  • Macromedia Freehand MX
    
• Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition
• Mavis Beacon Typing Tutor (Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing 12 Standard)

All computer lab users must sign an agreement before using the lab.
